Easy Wine Cocktails for 4th of July

Berry Sparkling Rosé Punch

Ingredients:

  • 1 bottle of sparkling rosé wine
  • 1 cup mixed berries (such as strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries)
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons agave syrup or simple syrup
  • Ice cubes

Instructions:

  1. In a large pitcher, muddle the mixed berries and mint leaves together.
  2. Add the sparkling rosé wine, orange juice, and agave syrup. Stir well.
  3. Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the punch mixture over the ice.
  4. Garnish with additional berries and mint leaves.

Patriotic Wine Spritzer

Ingredients:

  • 1 bottle of red wine (such as Merlot or Cabernet Sauvignon)
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 cup diced apples
  • 1 cup sliced strawberries
  • Club soda
  • Ice cubes

Instructions:

  1. In a pitcher, combine the red wine, blueberries, apples, and strawberries.
  2. Stir well and refrigerate for at least an hour to allow the flavors to blend.
  3. Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the wine mixture until about 3/4 full.
  4. Top off with club soda and gently stir.
  5. Garnish with additional berries.

  1. In a pitcher, combine the white wine, blueberries, raspberries, apples, simple syrup, and lemon juice.
  2. Stir well and refrigerate for at least an hour to allow the flavors to meld together.
  3. Serve the sangria over ice cubes in glasses, garnished with additional fruit if desired.

Sparkling Firework Cocktail

Ingredients:

  • 1 bottle of sparkling wine
  • 1/2 cup pomegranate juice
  • 1/4 cup blue curaçao
  • 1 tablespoon grenadine
  • Fresh blueberries and raspberries for garnish

Instructions:

  1. In a glass, combine the pomegranate juice and blue curaçao.
  2. Fill the glass halfway with the mixture and top it off with sparkling wine.
  3. Slowly pour the grenadine down the side of the glass so it sinks to the bottom.
  4. Garnish with fresh blueberries and raspberries.

  • Ice cubes

Instructions:

  1. In a pitcher, combine the white wine, sliced strawberries, basil leaves, and honey.
  2. Stir well and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse.
  3. Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the wine mixture until about 3/4 full.
  4. Top off with club soda and gently stir.
  5. Garnish with a fresh strawberry and a basil leaf.

Watermelon Wine Slushie

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups diced watermelon
  • 1 bottle of rosé wine
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 2 tablespoons honey (optional, for added sweetness)
  • Ice cubes

Instructions:

  1. Place the diced watermelon in a blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Pour the watermelon puree into a large pitcher.
  3. Add the rosé wine, lime juice, and honey (if using).
  4. Stir well and refrigerate for about 30 minutes to chill.
  5. When ready to serve, pour the mixture into a blender, add ice cubes, and blend until slushy.
  6. Pour the slushie into glasses and garnish with a slice of watermelon or lime wedge.
